Workers’ Comp What?? A Twisted SituationThe Overpayment Nightmare

 

One morning, while rushing to finish his work, Joe twisted his ankle on the job. He told his manager, Frank, right away. Joe said he thought he just needed a couple of days off to rest and recover. Understanding Joe’s need for time off, Frank agreed and simply told him to take three days. Joe didn’t seem overly concerned, and the manager assumed he’d bounce back in a couple of days.

 

But after 3 days, and then another week, and still 2 months later Joe was nowhere to be found.
